Frequently Asked Questions
-
How long does a window tinting installation take?
Most standard sedan tint jobs take between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. SUVs and larger vehicles may take 2.5 to 4 hours depending on the number of windows and the film type selected. We always prioritize quality over speed so your tint looks great and lasts.
-
How long should I wait before rolling my windows down after tinting?
We recommend waiting at least 3 to 5 days before rolling your windows down to allow the film adhesive to fully cure. In hotter weather, the curing process may be faster. Avoid cleaning the inside of the windows during this time as well.
-
Is window tinting legal in California?
Yes, window tinting is legal in California as long as it complies with state regulations. California law requires front side windows to allow more than 70% of light in. Rear side windows and the back window have no restriction. We always install films that meet CA legal standards and can advise you on the best options for compliance.
-
What types of window film do you offer?
We offer four main film types to suit every need and budget: Classic Film (entry-level, dyed film), Standard Pro Film (enhanced heat rejection), Carbon Film (matte finish, no signal interference), and Ceramic Infrared Film (top-tier heat and UV rejection without affecting electronics or visibility). Each comes with its own warranty level.
-
Do you offer a warranty on your window tinting work?
Absolutely. All of our film packages come with a warranty covering defects such as peeling, bubbling, and discoloration. Classic Film includes a 1-year warranty, Standard Pro Film a 3-year limited warranty, and both Carbon and Ceramic Infrared Films come with a Lifetime Warranty. We stand behind every job we do.
